What is the Double Bachelor's Degree in International Relations and Global Communication?
In the age of globalisation, the Double Bachelor's Degree in International Relations + Bachelor’s in Global Communication (IR-COM) will provide you with a broad foundation for a successful career in fields such as diplomacy, international political management, strategic communication or transnational business.
This degree goes a step further, offering a comprehensive multilingual experience in which you will also study two other global languages – a choice of French or German – and, if you wish, a third language chosen from Arabic, Portuguese or Chinese. You will spend the third year of your studies abroad at one of the world’s most prestigious universities , and you will have the option of undertaking a second six-month international exchange in the fifth year. During the summer between your third and fourth years, you will spend three weeks in Brussels to gain an in-depth understanding of how the EU institutions operate. All of this is achieved through the seamless integration of knowledge andsoft skills, with a strong emphasis on work placements, all fully tailored to the needs of the global labour market.

Specialisation certificate
The dual degree in International Relations and International Communication combines two separate Bachelor's Degrees, each lasting four years. A number of modules common to both Bachelor's Degrees allow students to complete the combined programme in just five years, with a higher than usual course load and student workload (an average of 72 ECTS credits per academic year).
During the final two years of their studies, students will tailor their International Relations programme to the areas that interest them most through three Official Specialisation Modules, which will be listed on their official academic qualification.

Apply for admission and, once your application has been approved, you will be able to sit the entrance exams. Once you have been notified of the result, you can complete your enrolment.
Yes. There are various scholarship schemes available, depending on the faculty and the degree programmes. However, they are all designed to help students and their families with the payment of monthly fees. Generally speaking, grants cover between 40 per cent and 75 per cent of fees, although in exceptional circumstances they may cover a higher percentage. Comillas students can also apply for various publicly funded schemes, such as the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Scholarship or the Community of Madrid Excellence Scholarship. In collaboration with a number of halls of residence and university accommodation providers, Comillas also runs a grant programme for accommodation in Madrid, aimed at students who need to travel from other areas.
