The Double Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy and Philosophy, Politics and Economics at Comillas is an official five-year on-campus programme leading to the simultaneous award of theBachelor's Degree in Philosophy anda Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics and Economics ( FIPE), as part of an inter-university Program developed in collaboration with Deusto and La Salle – Ramon Llull. This degree combines classical philosophical training with an interdisciplinary approach to philosophy, politics and economics, a well-established discipline within the international academic sphere.
The programme is aimed at students with an interest in critical thinking and the analysis of major contemporary challenges, who wish to understand reality through the lens of philosophy, economics and political science. This dual Bachelor's Degree in economics and philosophy provides a multidisciplinary grounding for analysing phenomena such as globalisation, inequality, sustainability and the functioning of institutions.
The Philosophy, Politics and Economics curriculum integrates subjects from philosophy, politics and economics – such as microeconomics, macroeconomics, international relations, political sociology and the history of economic thought – alongside philosophical subjects including ethics, metaphysics, logic, political philosophy and the philosophy of language. This combination makes the programme a leading choice within the fields of philosophy, economics and political science in Spain.
