Forty DBA in Management and Technology students particiipated in an academic visit to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), one of the most prestigious universities in the world, as part of the programme jointly organised together with Comillas ICADE and Comillas ICAI.
The DBA candidates took part in a course on Disruptive Business Models, organised by MIT Sloan, the university’s Business School, which has its headquarters in Cambridge (Massachusetts, USA). The course was well received by DBA students, who highlighted, above all, the work being done at MIT in data management and analysis and in customer experience.
The faculty teaching the course included leading researchers such as Michael A. Cusumano, Sloan Management Review Distinguished Professor and MIT Sloan Vice-Dean; Joseph Doyle, Erwin H. Schell Professor of Management at MIT Sloan; and Keri Pearlson, Executive Director of the School's Cybersecurity Department. MIT Sloan noted the "energy, creativity and probing questions" of the Comillas DBA group during their participation in the course.
