Degree:

Doctorate Program in International Migrations and Cooperation for Development, taught at the University Institute of Studies on Migrations.

The reseach plan has two parts: The planning of activities (training is taught in Spanish), and the doctoral thesis project (can be in English).

 

Candidate profile:

Candidates must hold a university degree and have completed 300 ECTS (European Credit Transfer) of which at least 60 ECTS must have university master level.

Royal Decree 99/2011, of January 28, which regulates official doctorate programs.

Submission of applications:

Submit the application form and the rest of the documentation in person or by certified mail to the University's Degree Certificates and Transcripts Service at C/ Alberto Aguilera 23 - 28015 Madrid.

Candidates will be called to attend a personal interview with the program's Academic Commission


Duration:

  • Full-time study: 3 years including complementary training modules
  • Part-time study: 5 years including complementary training modules

Fees:

Academic Fees:
Annual registration (for all students, from admission to defense of the thesis)
Full-time students (3 years) € 2560 per year, in two installments, € 1280 each semester.
Part-time students (5 years) € 2210 per year, in two installments, € 1105 each semester.
Training complements (for those who may need them, the maximum number being 22 ECTS): € 139.75 / per ECTS credit.

In case availability of grant, the grant application must be submitted along with all admission documents to the program secretary.
