The winners of the Christmas Card 2025 Competition have been announced
Students, PAS and PDI celebrate Christmas through art and imagination
1 December 2025
Christmas is already in the air at Comillas, and this year we are celebrating it with creativity and a lot of talent. The Christmas Card 2025 Competition has brought together students, PAS and PDI to share their vision of these special dates.
The first prize went to "Dare to be love", by María Belén Morales Vancheva, from the Protocol Unit. Her proposal, full of warmth and symbolism, reminds us that Christmas is also a time to care for and value those around us.

In the Student category, the prize went to "Dare to make it real", by Jimena Caballero Pascual, a student of the Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering (Comillas ICAI). Her work reflects the enthusiasm and energy of our students, who are always looking to transform their ideas into reality.
The youngest members of the family also surprised us. In the children's category from 3 to 10 years old, the winner was "Luz de la Navidad", by Carmen Granado San Román, aged 8, with a drawing full of colour and joy. And in the 11 to 18 years category, the work "Atrévete a que sea... hogar para todos", by Violeta Solas Alonge, 14, invites us to think of Christmas as a time of union and mutual care.
Finally, the Honourable Mention went to "Atrévete a que sea... la luz que te guía", by Paula Liaño Moreno, from the Chair of Hydrogen Studies, which reminds us of the importance of being inspired and supported by others, although the author preferred not to publish the image.
This competition not only highlights the artistic talent of our community, but also reflects how Comillas encourages creativity, participation and collaboration among everyone: students and staff. Each card is an example of how, from the university, we can share enthusiasm, creativity and community spirit, making Christmas an even more special time for everyone.
