DBA opens its doors with Blade Kotelly (MIT) in an immersive session on innovation
An afternoon of learning and discussion around disruptive innovation, with an international guest speaker and a practical look at what DBA is like on the inside.

Last Friday, April 24, Comillas ONEXED welcomed Blade Kotelly, Senior Lecturer at MIT, to Campus Arrupe for a special session aimed at students of the DBA in Management and Technology and, exceptionally, also open to prospective candidates interested in the programme.
The DBA in Management and Technology at Comillas ONEXED held an immersive session with Blade Kotelly, who joined the programme as a special guest during his visit to Madrid.
The session was designed as an “insider” experience of the DBA: a classroom-style session featuring participatory dynamics and the high-level discussion that characterises the programme. It was part of the two sessions delivered by Kotelly over the weekend and, on this occasion, was also open to professionals interested in discovering the DBA firsthand, offering them a real insight into its methodology and the type of academic debate it fosters.
Under the theme “Breakthrough Innovation”, Kotelly shared a particularly relevant reflection for leaders and professionals seeking to drive meaningful change: innovation is born, to a large extent, from constantly questioning the “why” behind things — challenging assumptions, revisiting established habits and opening up space for new perspectives — before moving on to action.
Through sessions such as this, the DBA reinforces its commitment to a learning experience connected to leading international benchmarks and aimed at developing judgement, rigour and the capacity to generate impact in complex environments.
