The tournament consisted of three rounds that challenged the skill of the participants and offered a unique experience for the audience. In addition, there was a panel of judges composed of five Comillas public speaking experts.
In the first round, speakers participated in pairs, demonstrating their teamwork skills and their ability to present convincing arguments.
The second round allowed participants to address a topic individually, highlighting their knowledge and skills in public speaking. During this phase, Eirene Sotillo was awarded a special mention for her outstanding performance, making a speech based on social media.
The excitement reached its peak in the final round. A round dedicated to the art of storytelling, which undoubtedly had the audience on the edge of their seats. The participants dazzled the audience with captivating and creative narratives, demonstrating not only their ability to persuade, but also to captivate the audience with compelling stories.
Among the participants, Rodrigo Sánchez-Bleda stood out for the level he demonstrated during all the rounds, receiving a special mention in recognition of his outstanding performance and dedication. On the other hand,Valerio Pérez from Madrid and Victoria Velasco won the runners-up category after a great performance full of skill.
The top distinction was awarded to Paz Sánchez-Terán. The winner says that "after a couple of changes of mind, I came to the conclusion that I would be able to speak better and it was more appropriate to tell the story of someone I admired and who had had a complicated path rather than my own; and that's how I came up with C. Tangana".
Once again, the Baltasar Gracián Oratory Tournament has highlighted the talent, eloquence and skill of the participants in oral expression.
