Our students at Comillas ICAI awarded for their talent and innovation
The Datathon 2023 organised by the Endesa Chair for Applications of Artificial Intelligence to Data-Based Maintenance at Comillas ICAI was the setting for a challenge against the clock

Last November, more than 50 students from Comillas ICAI participated in the Datathon 2023 organised by the Endesa Chair for Applications ofin Artificial Intelligence Applications for Data-Driven Maintenance at Comillas ICAI. To put the finishing touch to the competition, last Tuesday, diplomas were awarded to the 3 winning teams of the Datathon.
In an emotional ceremony presided over by José Bogas Gálvez, CEO of Endesa and ICAI engineer from the class of 1978, the students were able to share the results of their projects. Bogas stressed that "this Chair helps Endesa to continue taking advantage of the opportunities offered by Artificial Intelligence by generating knowledge and disseminating it to society".
In addition, this event was a great opportunity to highlight the various actions carried out by the Chair to promote research, transfer and academic excellence in a field as relevant as AI applications in the industrial field.
