What is the Official Master's Degree in Intelligent Industry?
The Official Master's Degree in Intelligent Industry (MUINT) at Comillas ICAI is an official 60 ECTS face-to-face Program taught in Madrid in one academic year. It trains engineers and STEM graduates in the key technologies of Industry 4.0 (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, generative AI, Internet of Things (IoT), cloud computing, industrial cybersecurity and autonomous mobile robotics), so that they can lead the digital transformation of industry. The Program includes paid internships in companies, both national and international, with personalised attention.

Students who obtain this degree will be natural leaders in the digital transformation process of the industry. In addition, the Master's in Intelligent Industry provides personalised attention to each student for the assignment of paid internships in both national and international companies.
Unlike other Masters in Smart or Intelligent Industry at Comillas ICAI, it is supported by its own Chair in Intelligent Industry with the participation of companies in the sector, and uniquely combines AI technologies (Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Generative AI), IoT, autonomous mobile robotics, industrial cybersecurity and cloud computing in a single one-year on-site program. Within the Comillas ICAI offer, this master's degree is specifically oriented towards the digital transformation of the industrial sector, while the Master's degree in Big Data focuses on data engineering and analytics, and the master's degrees in Artificial Intelligence delve into the development of AI systems.

Key technologies of the Master's Degree in Intelligent Industry
The program trains in the technologies that are transforming the industrial sector:
- Machine Learning and Industrial Deep Learning: Machine learning algorithms and neural networks applied to failure prediction, predictive maintenance, quality control and optimisation of production processes.
- Generative Artificial Intelligence: Generative AI tools applied to the design, simulation and automation of industrial tasks.
- Internet of Things (IoT): Sensorisation, connectivity and real-time data processing for the monitoring and control of industrial systems.
- Autonomous mobile robotics: Development and programming of autonomous robots for logistics, inspection and industrial operations.
- Industrial cloud computing: Cloud infrastructures for the storage, processing and deployment of digital solutions in production environments.
- Industrial cybersecurity: Protection of operating systems (OT), industrial networks and IoT devices against cyber threats.
- Intelligent process automation: RPA, hyper-automation and process orchestration using artificial intelligence.
Specific training on the new industrial context is acquired.

Industry 4.0 refers to the fourth industrial revolution, characterised by the digitalisation and automation of production processes. Smart industry goes one step further: it integrates Artificial Intelligence, real-time data analysis and IoT so that industrial systems are able to make autonomous decisions and adapt continuously.
Graduates can access positions such as Digital Transformation Manager, Technical or Technological Director, Industrial Project Manager, Industrial AI Consultant, or R&D&I manager in companies in the industrial, energy, manufacturing or technology sector.
The Program includes training in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, generative AI tools, machine vision and its direct application to industrial environments, combined with IoT, mobile robotics, cloud computing and industrial cybersecurity.
