The San Juan de Dios - Comillas University School of Nursing and Physiotherapy played an important role in the Spring Seminar 2025 of the European Network for Physiotherapy Education (ENPHE), which took place last April in the city of Breda (The Netherlands). The event, held under the theme "The Future of Physiotherapy Education: Trends, Challenges and Opportunities", brought together students and professionals from all over Europe to discuss the present and future of physiotherapy education.
On behalf of the student body, Gonzalo García and Marcela Marcial, third year students of the Degree in Physiotherapy, actively participated in all the activities of the seminar, sharing experiences with students and teachers from all over Europe in an international, collaborative and innovative environment.
On the part of the teaching staff, Manuel Lara and Pedro Chana attended the seminar. The latter played an important role as facilitator of the workshop "Emergent Topics in Physiotherapy Education", promoting reflection on the challenges and new trends in the training of physiotherapists.
The presence at this international meeting underlines EUEF's commitment to internationalisation, educational innovation and collaborative learning. In the words of Professor Pedro Chana, "initiatives such as ENPHE are a unique opportunity for personal, academic and professional growth; we encourage the entire university community to participate in future editions".
The aim of this plan is to facilitate the patient's transition to closer care from primary care after overcoming the disease, without losing the link to specialised hospital services.
Nineteen students from the EDUCADEMOS and TECNODEMOS programmes culminate their training in a ceremony that reinforces the commitment to educational inclusion and professional development
The inauguration of these courses opens a global space for learning, cultural exchange and academic excellence
