The celebration was part of the World Day of Peace, established by Paul VI in 1967, which, due to the holiday period, could not be celebrated on 1 January. During the prayer, special attention was paid to the victims of armed conflicts and the different situations of violence that continue to affect our world.
As a Jesuit university, Comillas wanted to express, also through shared prayer, its commitment to peace, justice and the dignity of every person, making this meeting a sign of communion and hope in the heart of the university.
