In this edition, the finalist teams from IEB, Comillas and Universidad Carlos III faced the challenge of creating a proposal for the fictitious Fundación San Andrés, combining profitability, liquidity and coherence with the social doctrine of the Church.
The Comillas team opted for a different approach: a portfolio with purpose. "The purpose is the base of the portfolio; it is not what you do, but how you do it", they explained when presenting their proposal, focused on funds with a positive impact, such as clean energy or sustainable infrastructures.
The jury valued the group's clarity, rigour and communication skills. Although the victory went to the IEB team, the Comillas representatives were recognised by the jury for their ethical vision and solid preparation.
After weeks of work and mentoring with experts in the sector, the three agreed that the experience was unique: "It has allowed us to apply what we have learned, receive direct feedback and improve from practice. It is exactly what we were looking for to continue growing as future managers", they said.
Without a doubt, Finect Talent taught them a clear lesson: that learning goes far beyond the classroom. Congratulations, guys!
