What is the Dual Degree Program in Criminology and Social Work?

The Dual Degree in Criminology and Social Work is the first dual degree for education and training in Spain that combines the Bachelor´s Degree in Criminology with the Bachelor´s Degree in Social Work. Studying for the Dual Degree in Crimonology and Social Work will allow you to professionally tackle aspects of criminal psychology such as Crime Prevention, Quality of Life, Care for Victims and the Promotion of Tolerance and Diversity, going beyond the struggle against crime and its legal norms and regulations.

In a society increasingly sensitized to citizen security, the studies in Criminology open up opportunities in a growing and developing field in the area of Social Intervention.

Criminology presents a growing field of opportunities

It is necessary to have trained professionals to perform detection and evaluation tasks in situations of risk and distress; orientation and attention to victims; mediation between victims and aggressors; management of multi-professional and interdisciplinary teams; intervention design, both preventive and restitutive of damages, and family and community intervention to generate situations of security and welfare.
