On 15 March, Comillas Pontifical University took part in the 24th edition of the UNIJES tournament. The competition brought together students from ESADE, SAFA, INEA, Deusto, IQS, Loyola and Comillas, at the IQS campus in Barcelona.

With more than 70 students, Comillas participated in collective competitions, 7-a-side football, men's and women's indoor football, men's and women's basketball and women's volleyball, as well as in individual sports, men's tennis and men's paddle tennis.

The results could not have been more satisfactory, as, except in football 7-a-side where we came fourth. Our teams showed great dominance by winning the rest of the collective sports. As for the individual competitions, Comillas also had a great performance, finishing in second place in both disciplines. The winner of the overall tournament, after the sum total of points, was Loyola.

It was a tournament full of respect and camaraderie, both on and off the court, which helped to establish great bonds between the students from the different institutions. It is an honour for Comillas to be able to host such an important sporting event in its facilities next year, fostering relations between the universities of the Society of Jesus.
