Antonio Cubillo Martín receives a special mention at the Ecological Transformation Awards 2025

Comillas celebrates the recognition awarded to Antonio Cubillo Martín, a student of the Bachelor's Degree in Engineering for Industrial Technologies (Comillas ICAI), at the Ecological Transformation Awards 2025, which highlight excellence, innovation and the commitment of young talent to sustainability.
The jury awarded Antonio a special mention for designing an innovative green hydrogen production plan that harnesses surplus photovoltaic energy from a plant located in Toledo. His proposal offers a modular and replicable solution capable of generating up to 140 tonnes of green hydrogen per year, with an estimated return on investment in seven years.
Without a doubt, the project demonstrates how engineering can contribute directly to decarbonisation and the energy transition with real and sustainable solutions. Congratulations, Antonio, on this well-deserved recognition and on the talent and commitment reflected in your work.
