The Faculty of Economics and Business Adminsitration (Comillas ICADE) at the Universidad Pontificia Comillas has been awarded international accreditation by the Association of MBAs (AMBA), one of the world’s most prestigious quality marks in the field of management education. The accreditation has been confirmed by the International Accreditation Advisory Board (IAAB) of AMBA & BGA, following the successful completion of a rigorous evaluation process.
This accreditation certifies the quality, academic rigour and international focus of two of the faculty’s strategic programmes: the MBA and the DBA. Both programmes stand out for their educational excellence and international reach, in line with the faculty’s commitment to continuous improvement and the development of responsible leaders.
The AMBA accreditation is awarded only to a small number of business schools worldwide, placing Comillas ICADE amongst a select group of internationally renowned institutions.
This recognition marks a new milestone, reinforcing Comillas ICADE’s global standing and complementing its AACSB international accreditation, thereby consolidating its progress towards the leading international quality standards in business education.
This achievement also underpins the joint efforts of its academic community — lecturers, students and administration and services staff — to maintain the highest standards of excellence in teaching and research.
The AMBA accreditation not only recognises the quality of the education provided, but also opens up new opportunities for students’ academic and professional development, facilitating access to international networks, development programmes and greater visibility on the global stage.
