Official Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and Master's Degree in Smart Grids

MIT+MSG

Specialising in smart grids and the digital transformation of the sector

mastil de telecomunicaciones

What can the Master offer you?

The double program formed by the Master's Degree in Telecommunications Engineering and the Master Degree in Smart Grids, taught by Strathclyde University and Comillas ICAI in close collaboration with Iberdrola , combines industry and academia to provide students with a generic training in telematics engineering, which is completed with a specialisation in smart grids, one of the revolutions in the energy sector.

The aim is to respond to the growing demand for engineers to lead the process of digitalisation of the electricity grid. Students will have a detailed understanding of the operation and planning of electricity grids under the new paradigm of smart grids.

The students will spend one semester in Spain and one semester in Scotland; they will also carry out internships (from May to August) in leading companies such as Iberdrola, Scottish Power Energy Networks (Glasgow), Minsait, Naturgy and Gridespertise.
