What is the Master?

The Master's Degree in International Migration is taught at the IUEM and has been an official degree of Comillas Pontifical University since the 2008-2009 academic year. During this time, the IUEM has prepared highly qualified professionals to develop their professional careers in the field of international migration.

The master's degree uses the blended learning methodology, which consists of combining the online system (virtual classroom plus online tutoring tools, such as face-to-face tutorials, forums, video tutorials, etc.) with a week of face-to-face classes in February, during which classes are given on research methodology and face-to-face tutorials are held.

The student's comprehensive training is completed with guaranteed professional internships in national and international organisations and the possibility of accessing the PhD in International Migration and Development Cooperation. Professional and academic opportunities

The Master's Degree in International Migration responds to the need for professional experts in the different areas related to migration, a phenomenon that involves very different areas and requires specific and complex preparation.

The necessary competences are provided so that the student can develop analyses on the different fields of action implicit in contemporary migratory processes; specialised training is envisaged to analyse, compare, evaluate and carry out diagnoses on the migratory reality in which we are participants. Students will be able to work both in non-governmental organisations that carry out intervention programs, and in public and private bodies that carry out consultancy work, studies, analysis and financing of projects in the field of immigration.
