The CYD Foundation has published the results of the tenth edition of the CYD Ranking, the ranking with the most complete information and the largest number of Spanish universities. There, Comillas is ranked as the first university in teaching and learning, and sixth overall. By areas, we have a solid first position in Law in Spain; third in Political Sciences and sixth in Business Administration and Management. This area, together with Law, has recently been recognised for the excellent employability of our students.

"The result rewards the collaborative work of excellent students and a vocational and dedicated teaching staff capable to transfer its efforts and progress in research and teaching innovation to the students. All this within the framework of a carefully designed academic offer that meets the highest quality standards, and in an organisational environment driven by a team of outstanding professionals. Excellent teaching and learning will keep on being our distinguishing mark ", said the Vice-Rector of Academic Strategy, Paloma Bilbao.

For the dean of the Faculty of Law, Abel Veiga, being the leading law department "is a recognition of the many years of work, the continuous effort in the search for talent based on rigour, the permanent innovation and the fact that we have excellent students with a unique teaching staff".

The CYD Ranking allows users to find out about, learn about and compare the performance of universities according to dimensions such as teaching and learning, research, knowledge transfer, internationalisation, contribution to regional development and labour insertion. Universities can be analysed overall or by fields of knowledge of the degrees.

According to this ranking, the 10 Spanish universities that stand out for having the highest number of indicators in the highest performance group are: Autònoma de Barcelona, Navarra, Carlos III de Madrid, Autónoma de Madrid, Barcelona, Comillas Pontifical, Deusto, Pompeu Fabra, Rovira i Virgili, Ramon Llull.
