Comillas Pontifical University and the Aon Spain Foundation signed an addendum to the existing agreement between the two institutions, by which the risk management firm finances the Chair in Catastrophes, which belongs to the University Institute of Studies on Migration (IUEM, by its acronym in Spanish).
Among other matters, the addendum includes the renewal for one year of the agreement between Comillas and the Aon Spain Foundation for the financing of the Chair, the preparation of a doctoral thesis in the field of catastrophes, and the participation of the university in the barometer of catastrophes that the Foundation develops.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mariano Ventosa, Vice-Rector for Research and Teaching Staff, on behalf of Comillas Pontifical University. On behalf of the Aon Spain Foundation, its General Manager, Pedro Tomey, was in charge of signing the agreement. Also present were Raquel Caro, Director of the Chair in Catastrophes, and Jorge Larena, Director of Institutional Development at Comillas. With the signing of this addendum, Comillas and the Aon Spain Foundation will be in their sixth year of joint research and work.
