The Forced Migration and Refugee Chair has participated in the "II International Seminar of Interdisciplinary Dialogues: Migration and Human Rights", organised by the General Coordination of Postgraduate Studies (CGEP) of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). The Mexican university brought together representatives from universities in France and Spain, who gave lectures and participated in round tables on migration, human rights and the contemporary challenges of international mobility.

The director of the chair, Cecilia Estrada, gave the lecture "The logic of the migratory crisis: a conceptual proposal to analyse contemporary discourses and practices", in which she presented an analytical framework to understand current narratives on human mobility and the tensions that cross the reception systems.

Together with her team, she reinforced the institutional presence and actively participated in the planned academic activities. Not surprisingly, the interventions of its representatives generated enriching debates and placed its work at the centre of the seminar's academic discussions. "Our presence at UNAM is evidence of the recognition of the work carried out by the chair and the importance of its contribution in international spaces of reference," says Estrada.

With its participation in this forum, the Forced Migration and Refugee Chair consolidates its commitment to international academic cooperation and strengthens its role in global debates on international protection and human mobility.
