Triple gold medal for Inés Bergua, student of the Degree in Law (E-1) at the 41st European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, held in Tallinn (Estonia).
The triple medal is also the best record for Spain in the continental tournament since 1992.
The Spanish team, made up of Andrea Corral, Marina Cortelles, Andrea Fernández, Lucía Muñoz, Salma Solaun and Inés herself, as captain, won the five ribbons final with 25,300 points, beating France (24,650) and Italy (23,800).
Spain also triumphed in the mixed exercise of two rings and three balls, with 27,700 points, leaving behind Ukraine (26,250) and Germany (25,350).
To round off a historic weekend, the Spanish team was proclaimed European champion in the overall all-round classification, comfortably beating Israel and Hungary.
The European Championships have been the confirmation of the great moment of the rhythmic gymnastics team after the Olympic Games in Paris in 2024 and under the leadership of Inés Bergua.
