What is the Degree in Agricultural and Agro-environmental Engineering?
The environment and agri-food activity are nowadays two essential axes in the progress of our societies and INEA's Degree in Agricultural and Agri-environmental Engineering, specialising in Farming, offers a response to the environmental challenges and food needs of the present and the future.
Students of this degree are trained in amulti-purpose engineering that enables them to access a wide and varied range ofprofessional opportunities and activities, such as those linked to the production of foodstuffs and foodstuffs.such as those linked to food production, farm management, the management of agri-food industries, the design of facilities, the execution of works, the drafting of projects, the preparation of expert reports, the management of quality systems and food traceability, the marketing of products, machinery and irrigation systems, environmental management and a long etcetera of activities related to the countryside, industry, technology and nature.
The INEA curriculum is the only one in Spain that combines the scientific and technical training of agricultural engineering with the acquisition of specific skills in business management and sustainability, on the basis of theoretical and practical training that is extended with internships in companies and Erasmus exchange with European universities.

+ ADEA Title
The Specialist Degree in Administration and Management of Agri-Food Companies is a Degree awarded by the Comillas Pontifical University and the INEA School of Engineering.
The Degree guarantees the 48 ECTS credits (equivalent to 1,200 hours of training) that students of the Bachelor's Degree in Engineering study over the four years of the degree course on different subjects in the field of business management and administration. The contents are organised into 4modules and 16 subjects related to socio-economic analysis, agricultural business management and strategic management.
For years, companies have been requesting engineers with training in economics and business and this degree has always distinguished INEA engineers from those of other schools and universities. INEA has been teaching it since 1983 and is therefore widely recognised by companies in the agricultural and agri-food sector at regional and national level.
The Degree has been evolving since its origin and since 2018 it is also a Degree of the Comillas Pontifical University, thus acquiring a new value in the labour market by receiving the seal of a University of recognised prestige and international orientation such as Comillas. To date, 100% of INEA graduates have this degree, which translates into 3465 engineers.

However, all of them are aimed at supporting students and their families in the payment of monthly fees. In general, grants are between 40% and 75%, although in exceptional situations they can reach higher percentages. Comillas students can also access different public grants such as the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Scholarship or the Excellence Scholarship of the Community of Madrid.
