Comillas hosted the presentation of the IFS-07, the new single-seater of the ICAISpeed Club (ISC), which represents a qualitative and quantitative leap in the team's history. Designed and developed by more than 80 students from different disciplines, the IFS-07 marks a change in the global concept: at only 198 kg, it is the lightest prototype ever produced by the team, thanks to the integral optimisation of each component.

As team manager and Engineering for Industrial Technologies student Miguel Ángel Medina explains, the main technical improvements include "the redesign of the chassis and structural triangulations, as well as the implementation of a new aerodynamic package, reliable and robust, designed to evolve throughout the season". "The vehicle's electrical system has also been revamped by redesigning the batteries and internally developing a new Battery Management System (BMS) adapted to the new geometry," he said. These innovations reflect a rigorous technical approach and a clear focus on efficiency, control and track performance.
During the ceremony, Antonio Allende SJ, Rector of the University, addressed a few words to the team, highlighting the educational and human value of the project: "You have shown passion, dedication and a capacity for teamwork that fills us with admiration. This is much more than building a car: it is a real school of life". The rector underlined that the project embodies the ideal of a holistic education, "you not only put engineering knowledge into practice, you also develop skills such as resilience, effective communication and real project management".
The team will compete this season in Formula Student Spain and Formula Student Germany, with the aim of participating in all the dynamic events and making its mark on the European circuit. Backed by 36 sponsors and a university community that vibrates with every achievement, the ISC FS Racing Team accelerates, once again, towards a future built on innovation and shared excellence.
