What is the Dual Degree?
If your vocation is teaching and you are passionate about everything that has to do with pedagogy and education, the Dual Degree in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education is the training option you are looking for. With the Dual Degree in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education with minors in Foreign Language: English, and in Therapeutic Pedagogy you will be able to work as a teacher of early childhood education and primary education, both in public schools and in private or state-subsidised schools.
The five years of the Infant and Primary Education degree will prepare you to improve the intellectual, personal, creative and social development of children from the time they enter school until they reach the age of 12.

The recommended entry profile for those wishing to study the double degree in Primary Education and Early Childhood Education is that of a person who considers education to be a preferential means of introducing changes in the lives of individuals and also in the development of societies. These studies should be taken by people with a strong motivation to learn about the teaching and learning processes that are at the basis of the personal growth of students aged 0-12 years with whom they will have to deal in their professional practice. The future student of Primary and Early Childhood Education should be characterised by: having wide-ranging cultural, educational, psychological and social interests; possessing an eagerness to understand the human being to the highest possible degree and having a reasonable belief that educational intervention, both in formal and non-formal settings, can make a decisive contribution to people's wellbeing. The double degree has a strong pedagogical foundation, teaching specialisations and internships in educational centres, and requires a strong personal commitment to academic study.

Yes, there are different scholarships available depending on the faculty and degree programs, but all of them are aimed at supporting students and their families in the payment of monthly fees. In general, grants are between 40% and 75%, although in exceptional situations they can reach higher percentages. Comillas students can also access different public grants such as the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Scholarship or the Excellence Scholarship of the Community of Madrid. In collaboration with some colleges and university residences, Comillas also develops a scholarship program for accommodation in Madrid, aimed at those students who need to travel from other places.
