Comillas is proclaimed champion of the 2nd National Debate Tournament at the University of the Basque Country
Thanks to this victory, the university debating team has secured a place in the final phase of the Spanish University Debating League 2025.

The university's debating team was proclaimed champion of the II National Debating Tournament of the University of the Basque Country. Undoubtedly, an achievement that consolidates its position among the best university debate teams at national level. Thanks to its effort and talent, the team has secured a place in the final phase of the Spanish University Debate League (LEDU) 2025, a highly prestigious event that brings together the best teams in the country.
In addition, students Rodrigo Sánchez-Bleda, from the Dual Degree in Law and Philosophy, Politics and Economics, and Alberto García, student of the Degree in Law and International Relations, shone in this competition. Rodrigo was recognised for his impeccable argumentative skills and Alberto was awarded for the best rebuttal of the tournament. Both demonstrated exceptional skills that were key to their victory.
This achievement represents the culmination of a year of intense preparation and dedication, especially significant after being so close to victory in the last edition.
