This initiative, held at the University of Deusto and hosting engineering students from Jesuit-UNIJES universities, aimed to design and manufacture the best autonomous wheelchair for visiting museums. Combining social impact and technology, the participants tested their prototypes over two intense days. Undoubtedly, a challenge that is committed to improving accessibility and quality of life for people with reduced mobility.

In keeping with the theme of the competition, the awards ceremony of this first edition of the 'SocialTech Challenge' was held at the Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao. The rector of the University of Deusto, Juan José Etxebarria, and the executive secretary of UNIJES, Enrique López Viguria, presented our students with the long-awaited first prize.

Congratulations to all the students who took part in this challenge and let's see what new challenges the next edition will bring!
