Comillas has once again been filled with accents, languages and new stories with the arrival of international students for the second four-month period. To accompany them at this beginning, the International Relations Service has organised a new edition of the Comillas Welcome Week, designed to help them land at the university and begin to build their experience in Madrid.

More than 1000 students, from more than 240 universities and nearly 45 countries, participated in a welcome day in which they got to know the main services at Comillas, received their welcome pack and were able to meet the people who will accompany them during the semester. A first meeting to resolve doubts, to start making friends and to feel part of the community from the very first moment.

During the event, José Manuel Sáenz Rotko, Assistant to the Vice-Rector for Identity and Mission and Alumni and Students, encouraged them to live this stage with enthusiasm. "This time at Comillas will be brief, but it will surely be one of the most transforming experiences of your life. Here you will find knowledge, friendships and diversity", he reminded them, also underlining the international character of the university.

For her part, María Amalia Silva, Director of the International Relations Service, thanked the students for their trust and sent them a very clear message: "take advantage of everything that Comillas offers you, inside and outside the classroom, and also share this experience with the local students, because you have a lot to learn from each other".

The Welcome Week was completed with meetings with academic coordinators, orientation activities and a cultural tour of Madrid, which put the finishing touch to the first days of an academic and personal experience that has just begun.
