Comillas, through the Faculty of Law (Comillas ICADE), hosted the European seminar MoveS ("Free Movement and Social Security Coordination"), an initiative of the European Commission that brought together specialists in labour law and mobility from different EU countries.
During the inauguration, the Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations, Organisation and Registrar, Dolores Carrillo Márquez, emphasised that "one of the great virtues of this seminar is its diversity: jurists, academics and professionals who, from different perspectives, seek joint solutions to the challenges of European mobility".
Carrillo also emphasised that the round table format favours the exchange of ideas and critical thinking, "something fundamental at Comillas, where we not only train competent professionals, but also committed people, with criteria and capable of dialogue".
Undoubtedly, a meeting that analysed key issues such as international teleworking, the social protection of frontier and seasonal workers and the progress of the MoveS II project, which promotes European cooperation in labour and Social Security matters.
