Summer course: Climate change and renewable energies


This course is designed to provide students with an in-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies and their crucial role in the transition to a sustainable energy model. Through a combination of theory and practice, students will learn to analyse the impact of climate change, identify the most relevant renewable energy sources and assess their integration into current energy systems. In addition, they will study the challenges and technical solutions in the transition to cleaner energy, aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.

Course description

  • Duration: 2 weeks (approximately 30 hours).
  • Credits: 3 ECTS.
  • Language: Spanish.
  • Place: C/Alberto Aguilera, 23, Madrid.
  • Requirements:students who are studying for a degree, preferably between the second and third year. If the course is taught in English, a minimum B2 certificate in this language will be required.

Monday to Thursday: from 9:00 to 14:00 and from 16:00 to 17:00h. Friday: from 9:00 to 13:30h.

Monday to Friday: from 9:00 to 13:30h., during the months of June, July and August.
