Visibly moved, the award winners received their awards at a ceremony presided over by the Rector, Enrique Sanz, SJ, and also attended by the Vice Rector for Organisation and Digital Transformation, José María Ortiz, and the CEO of Merlin Properties, Ismael Clemente.

These awards have been created with the collaboration of ICADE Professional Association, sponsored by Merlin Properties and launched by the Office of the Vice Rector for Organisation and Digital Transformation.

During his speech, the Vice Rector for Organisation and Digital Transformation acknowledged that these awards are very important for the university because they recognise the work of a fundamental part of the university and because they are awarded among colleagues. "The Administration and Services Staff are a key element in the development of the university and in achieving the highest levels of satisfaction among our students, lecturers and network of collaborators," he said. Addressing the award winners, he said: "Your example motivates and inspires us to continue growing as a university community". The CEO of Merlin Properties, a former student at Comillas, pointed out: "With these awards, we try to recognise a fundamental part of the day-to-day life of the university".

The Rector of Comillas, for his part, also stressed the importance of the work of the administration and services staff: "You make the university better and give it stability". Addressing the award winners, he congratulated them and thanked them for representing some of the main values of Comillas, such as effort, work, initiative, collaboration and love of work. "Recognition is valuable because it allows us to look at the path taken by others", he concluded.

These awards were created three years ago by the Vice-Rector's Office for Organisation and Digital Transformation, through the Office of Organisation and People, to promote the talent of management staff in its different dimensions, placing skills and competencies at the centre.

These awards, which are sponsored by Merlin Properties, recognise the commitment and good work of the university's staff, and aim to highlight and reward the work of the administrative and service staff, a fundamental axis for the university in fulfilling its mission in society, and to improve the employee experience by fostering a sense of belonging.

The award winners have been nominated by their own colleagues and by the PDI for their commitment to the university and for representing the principles, values, competencies and key qualities that we aim to promote in our institution.
