Of all the contestants, only four finalists made it to the grand final. Rodrigo stood out for his depth, sensitivity and technique, qualities that placed him among the most brilliant communicators of the edition. In the semi-finals, he defended two speeches: one obligatory, on "Should the speaker always tell the truth", and another on a free theme entitled "The beauty of the last times". In the final, he again surprised the jury with his speech on "The new invisible wars" and moved the audience with his own speech, "The importance of remembering empty chairs", for its human message and impeccable staging.
Undoubtedly, a great position for the Comillas School of Debate, which once again this year demonstrates its leadership in one of the most prestigious competitions. Congratulations, Rodrigo, for taking the voice of Comillas to the top and demonstrating that the word, when spoken with passion and purpose, can go as far as one dreams!
