Comillas hosts the I Meeting of Directors of Master's Degrees in Accounting and Auditing

The faculty of Economics and Business Administration (Comillas ICADE) hosted the I Meeting of Directors of Master’s Degrees in Accounting and Auditing, organised by the Spanish Association of University Lecturers in Accounting (ASEPUC), together with the Department of Accounting and Finance of the faculty.

Under the slogan “Collaborating on the new challenges in Accounting and Auditing”, the meeting counted on the attendance of the dean of the faculty, Teresa Corzo; the president of the Institute of Accounting and Audit of Accounts (ICAC), Santiago Durán; the president of Accounting Economists of theConsejo General de Economistas (CGE), Francisco José Gracia; and the general manager of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Spain (ICJCE), Javier Quintana.

During the meeting they addressed, among other things, the following topics: the importance of the homologation of degrees at national and international level; the strategies of auditing companies to attract and retain professionals with talent; how to channel the generational shift in auditing and accounting and good practices in Masters in Accounting and Auditing.
