The Faculty of Theology offers the degree of Specialist in Biblical Spirituality for those individuals who wish to root their spiritual experiences in sources from the Word of God. Studying the Bible, which for the Church is the soul of Theology", reveals experiences of Biblical faith which, from the saving events lived by the People of God and the followers of Jesus Christ, have made their mark on Christian spirituality.
This Christian spirituality appears in a particular way in many Books of the Old and New Testaments, the main objects of study of the program of Specialist in Biblical Spirituality. This Christian spirituality appears in a particular way in many Books of the Old and New Testaments, the main objects of study of the program of Specialist in Biblical Spirituality. A greater knowledge of them and, above all, of the experience of the Biblical God, can lead people to live, faithful to God, and enables changes in their attitudes, practices and inter-human relationships, since praying and doing justice proceed, according to the Bible, from a common source: the grace of God.
This program reveals experiences of Biblical faith
In this program, the Bible is analyzed as nourishment for spiritual life, an element that we all must follow in order to know the Word of God for each age, since "We listen to God when we read His words" (Ib. 25).
