"This double degree offers a specialization in Smart Grids, one of the areas that is revolutionizing the Electric Power Industry"

What is the Official Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and Master's Degree in Smart Grids?

This double degree program, composed of the Official Master's Degree in Industrial Engineering and the Master's Degree in Smart Grids, taught by Strathclyde University and Comillas ICAI, in close collaboration with Iberdrola, combines Industry and Academia to provide the student with a generic training in Industrial Engineering, which is complemented with a specialization in Smart Grids, one of the revolutions in the Energy Sector.

The digital transformation process that is taking place in the electrical network requires engineers, capable of leading the changes. Students who successfully complete this Master's Degree will have a detailed understanding of the operation and planning of electric networks under this new paradigm.

One of the attractive features of the program is its internationalization

Students spend a semester in Glasgow (Strathclyde University) and continue for an extra semester, where they will carry out paid internships at one of the Offices of Iberdrola in the United Kingdom, United States, Brazil or Spain.
