SPECIFIC SKILLS
CE1 - Have, understand and develop skills that allow the student to apply specialised academic knowledge gained during the University official degree to a changing real life the lawyers have to deal with, in order to avoid injury, risk or conflict situations regarding the interests they are defending or their professional work before tribunals, courts or public authorities and for their counselling duties.
CE2 - Know the techniques aimed at finding out and determining the facts at the different stages of the proceeding, especially the production of documents, questioning and expert evidence.
CE3 - Know and be able to integrate the defence of customers' rights within the framework of national and international legal protection systems.
CE4 - Know the different techniques for the reconciliation of interests, and be able to find solutions to problems by using methods alternative to legal proceedings.
CE5 - Know and be able to apply professional ethical rights and duties to lawyer-customer relationships, the other parties, the court or public authority and between lawyers.
CE6 - Know and assess the different responsibilities related to the exercise of that professional activity, including the basic operating principles of legal aid and the promotion of social responsibility of the lawyer.
CE7 - Be able to identify conflicts of interest and know the techniques for resolution thereof, define the scope of professional secrecy and confidentiality and preserve the independence of mind.
CE8 - Be able to identify the main provision and organisation requirements for legal advice.
