Master's Degree in Systemic Family Therapy

The Master's Degree in Systemic Family Therapy is a program aimed at understanding the human being as part of a system of relationships, in constant interaction and evolution. When intervening in any problem with children and adults, it is essential to have a broad vision that takes into account the mutual influence between the individual and the different systems of which he or she is a part or that intervene in the problem: the current partner or family, the family of origin and extended family, the educational or work context, the health context, social services, etc.

General information

what does this master's degree consist of?

This master's degree has a clear professional orientation that enables students to work in different intervention contexts (health, education, social, etc.) attending to individuals and/or their families from a broad and global understanding.

Professionalising and designed to work in different contexts of intervention.

Graduates in Psychology who wish to practice psychology in the health or clinical field must take the Professionalising Master's Degree in General Health Psychology (MPGS) or specialise through the pathway of Specialist Psychologist in Clinical Psychology (PIR), as a result of the regulation of the profession of General Health Psychologist. Both options offer a complete and broad training in general issues of the profession of clinical or health psychologist, however, many students also seek a more specific and in-depth preparation in systemic interventions.
