Academic Search Complete 

EbscoHost's multidisciplinary database. It contains the full text of more than 4,600 periodicals. It also contains indexes, abstracts of more than 8,200 journals and 7,200 peer-reviewed summaries and abstracts. It is updated daily.

ATLA Religion Database with ATLA Serials

Database produced by the American Theological Library Association, which includes over 575,000 citations to articles, over 239,000 citations to essays, and over 530,000 citations to book reviews. Provides full text. Includes the ATLA Catholic Periodical and Literature Index Database.

Complete Freedom Collection (ELSEVIER) 

The Elsevier Freedom Collection is a service that provides access to the full text of around 1,700 scientific, medical and technical journals belonging to the Elsevier Group.
Publishers included in the Freedom Collection include Academic Press, Pergamon, W. B. Saunders, Mosby, North Holland, Churchill Livingston, JAI and ESME.

SAGE Humanities and Social Science (HSS) Package

Online platform containing over 660 Humanities and Social Science journals with full-text access from 1999 to the present. It includes peer-review journals, many of which have an impact factor in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). The subjects of education and special education stand out.

 Scopus 

Elsevier's database of bibliographic references and citations. Contains 18 000 international journals, with references cited since 1996, and includes patents and websites integrated through Scirus. It also has two research impact metrics: Scimago Journal Rank (SCR) and SNIP (Source-normalized impact Paper) from Leyden University.

Web of Science

It is the collection of databases of bibliographic references and citations of periodicals that collects information from 1900 to the present. WOS is made up of the Core Collection, which includes the indexes of Science, Social Sciences and Arts and Humanities, as well as the proceedings of both Science and Social Sciences and Humanities, together with the tools for analysis and evaluation, such as the Journal Citation Report and Essential Science Indicators. Additionally, it has the databases included in the licence for Spain: Medline, Scielo and Korean Citation Index.

Wiley Online Library

Provides access to the full text of around 1,400 journals (generally since 1997) published by John Wiley and Sons. The dominant language of the articles is English. The subject matter covers both scientific and humanities fields.

Reference works

Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy 

Produced by the Center for the Study of Language and Information (Standford University). Each entry is maintained and updated by experts in the field and undergoes a review process by the editorial board before being published.

Project of the Gustavo Bueno Foundation, aims to promote the development, dissemination and knowledge of philosophy in Spanish.

Philpapers Online Research in philosophy 

Portal developed by David Bourget (University of London) and David Chalmers (Australian National University). Its aim is to facilitate the exchange and development of philosophical research, collecting and organising articles and books by specialists in the field.

Persée. Portail de revues en sciences humaines et sociales 

Provides free and open access to complete collections of scientific publications such as journals, books, conference proceedings, serial publications, primary sources, etc., associated with a range of research tools and tools for research and use. More than 552,000 documents grouped by discipline, including philosophy, religion and theology, psychology, politics, history, among others.

Philosophy Research Base 

Started as a tool to help philosophy students at Villanova University. It is organised by historical period, subject and author. It contains high quality texts and online resources designed for both academic and general audiences interested in all philosophical topics and related areas.

Philosophy portal offering links to related resources. It is classified by type of resource, philosophical school, type of material, etc. Prepared by Garth Kemmerling, professor at Capella University of Minneapolis.

PhilSci Archive 

Developed by Eprints3 (University of Southampton). Repository of preprints specialised in philosophy. Its aim is to promote communication in the field of philosophy through the rapid dissemination of scientific works.

Cogprints 

Repository belonging to Eprints3, covering various areas such as psychology, linguistics and philosophy.

DOAB 

Directory of scholarly books offering more than 180 open-access e-books on philosophy.

EZ3 - Philosophy 

Access to more than 800 scientific journals on philosophy from all over the world. The vast majority are open access. Maintained by the Elektronische Zeitschriftenbibliothek EZB (Electronic Journals Library). No article search engine.

Web sites

Institute of Philosophy (CSIC) 

One of the priority tasks of the IFS is to become an interdisciplinary and open meeting place. Among the different activities it has set up, there are conferences, symposia, seminars, and the Aranguren Conferences on Philosophy.

Spanish Philosophy Network 

This organisation aims to provide the backbone of the Spanish philosophical community and to coordinate all the associations, foundations, teaching institutions, research centres, etc., related to the practice of the philosophical profession. It is made up of the Spanish Conference of Philosophy Deaneries, the Institute of Philosophy of the CSIC and more than 40 philosophical associations from different thematic fields, educational levels and autonomous communities.

Philosphy Documentation Center 

Non-profit organisation, which since 1966 has been dedicated to providing access to resources in the humanities and social sciences. Supports research in many fields through scholarly publications, peer-reviewed journals and serials, and conference proceedings. It customises publications and services, and provides information on work in progress in philosophy and related fields in more than 100 countries.
