Multidisciplinary databases

Academic Search Complete

EbscoHost's multidisciplinary database. It contains the full text of more than 4,600 periodicals. It also contains indexes, abstracts of more than 8,200 journals and 7,200 peer-reviewed summaries and abstracts. It is updated daily.

Complete Freedom Collection (ELSEVIER)

The Elsevier Freedom Collection is a service that provides access to the full text of around 1,700 journals in the scientific, medical and technical fields belonging to the Elsevier Group.
Publishers included in the Freedom Collection include Academic Press, Pergamon, W. B. Saunders, Mosby, North Holland, Churchill Livingston, JAI and ESME.

E-Journals

Database providing access to articles from hundreds of electronic journals available through EBSCO. Some articles from other EBSCOHost databases can be accessed in full text.

Web of Science 

The Web of Science is the collection of databases of bibliographic references and citations to periodicals that collect information from 1900 to the present day. It is made up of the Core Collection, which includes the indexes of Science, Social Sciences and Arts and Humanities, as well as the Proceedings of both Science and Social Sciences and Humanities, together with the tools for analysis and evaluation, such as the Journal Citation Report and Essential Science Indicators. In addition, it has the databases that complement it included in the licence for Spain: Medline, Scielo and Korean Citation Index.

Scopus

Scopus is the largest database of citations and abstracts of peer-reviewed literature: scientific journals, books and conference proceedings. Offering a comprehensive summary of the world's research output in the fields of science, technology, medicine, medicine, social sciences, and the arts and humanities, Scopus includes intelligent tools for tracking, analysing and visualising research.

Wiley Online Library

Provides access to the full text of some 1,400 journals (generally since 1997) published by John Wiley and Sons. The dominant language of the articles is English. The subject matter covers both scientific and humanities fields.

Portal that brings together specialised legal resources. From the library we have access to the full text of the subscribed journals.

Kluwer Arbitration

The world's leading online resource for international arbitration research. It contains a wealth of commentary by expert authors and an extensive collection of primary source materials. Plus, as a subscriber, you get access to exclusive materials, including ICC cases and awards.

Laleydigital360

Laleydigital incorporates the most extensive collection of documents in all legal fields, rigorously analysed by its team of legal experts. More than 150 experts update the database on a daily basis, including and interrelating all the legal content you need in your daily work (case law, legislation, doctrine, forms, collective agreements, administrative doctrine...).

To access it, you need to request a password from the Library's User Service Centre.

Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection
The world's most comprehensive database of psychology topics, including the full text of some 560 publications since 1965. Covers topics related to emotional and behavioural characteristics, psychiatry and psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods.

    The world's most comprehensive and prestigious sociological research database. More than 2,100 records available. Subject headings are drawn from a thesaurus. Contains full text of 820 publications since 1908, over 830 books and 14,600 papers.

Encyclopedia of Social Work 

A collaboration between the National Association of Social Workers (NASW Press) and Oxford University Press (OUP). A classic reference work that has been a valuable tool for social workers for over 85 years. This online resource, of the same name, offers the reliability of the print version with the accessibility of a digital platform. EES offers hundreds of summary articles on a range of key topics in the study of social work, as well as concise biographies of influential figures in the history of social work. In addition, it provides links to resources and information that offer users the opportunity to expand and contextualise their research. It is a resource designed for a broad audience studying or working in the field of social work, as well as related fields such as public health and sociology.

SAGE Humanities and Social Science (HSS) Package

  • User Guide
    Online platform containing over 660 Humanities and Social Science journals with full-text access from 1999 to the present. They include peer-review journals, many of which have an impact factor in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). The following subjects stand out: criminology, criminal justice, interpersonal violence, gender studies, social work and social policy, family studies.

Global Policing Database (GPD)
Database bringing together 65 years of police research from around the world The University of Queensland, in partnership with the Mayor's Office for Policing And Crime (MOPAC) and the College of Policing. Aimed at practitioners and academics, it covers the full spectrum of police research from policing to public safety. In the future, the database will contain up to 5,000 case studies dating back to 1950.

CENDOJ (Judicial Documentation Centre)
The CGPJ's database of more than five million judgments handed down by the Supreme Court, the High Courts of Justice, the National High Court and the Provincial Courts.

Eurlex
Provides access to all information related to EU law. It is free of charge and is updated daily.
