Complete Freedom Collection (ELSEVIER)

The Elsevier Freedom Collection is a service that provides access to the full text of some 1,700 scientific, medical and technical journals from the Elsevier Group.
Publishers included in the Freedom Collection include Academic Press, Pergamon, W. B. Saunders, Mosby, North Holland, Churchill Livingston, JAI and ESME.

EconLit With Full Text

Belongs to the American Economic Association. It is the leading reference source for economic literature. This database contains more than 1 million records from 1969 to the present. EconLit covers almost all areas related to economics. In addition, it provides access to the full text of more than 600 publications including those of the American Economic Association.

ProQuest Political Science

Provides access to over 150 leading publications in international relations and political science, with images and full text of publications. Covers topics such as comparative politics, political economy, international development, environmental policy and related subjects. Access to the full text of many major titles included in Worldwide Political Science Abstracts.

ProQuest Worldwide Political Science Abstracts

Provides citations, abstracts and indexes to international journals in political science and complementary fields, including international relations, law and public administration/politics. References cited in the bibliography of the original article have been included for citations to political science journals added to the database since 2001, and to other journals added since 2004.

Sabi INFORMA

Directory of Spanish companies. Allows macroeconomic studies, sector ratios, market studies, sector positioning, benchmarking, microeconomic studies of any of its balance sheet items, established or user-defined ratios.

SAGE Humanities and Social Science (HSS) Package

Online platform containing over 660 Humanities and Social Science journals with full-text access from 1999 to the present. They include peer-review journals, many of which have an impact factor in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR). Subjects include: Economics and Development, Management and Organizational Studies, Marketing.

Wiley Online Library

Provides access to the full text of some 1,400 journals (generally since 1997) published by John Wiley and Sons. The dominant language of the articles is English. The subject matter covers both the scientific and humanities fields.

Fundación MAPFRE Documentation Centre

Expert database in the search, selection, processing and dissemination of information on insurance, risk management, social welfare and related subjects such as economics, silver economy and law.

ISOC Economy 

CSIC summary database that compiles the bibliographic references of articles and grey literature (theses, reports and papers) published in 170 Spanish journal titles since 1976. It includes the full text of some of the documents.

NBER (National Bureau of Economic Research) 

Agency in charge of diagnosing economic cycles in the United States and keeping a chronology of its recessions, since 1920. It provides access to its database of working papers, many of them in full text.

REPEC (Research Papers in Economics) 

The largest open access digital library in existence today. It contains more than 900,000 documents in electronic format. It is an indispensable source of information for accessing the latest research results in Economics.

Social Science Research Network 

Open access database that collects articles and scientific journals in the Social Sciences. It allows you to create free accounts to consult and download the content of full-text documents.

CEuropean Central Bank Repository

Provides access to ECB Working Papers, which aim to stimulate discussion and contribute to the advancement of knowledge on economic issues.

BASE 

Bielefeld Academic Search Engine. Managed by the Bielefeld University Library. It is a metasearch engine in repositories. It provides access to more than 140 million documents, mostly full-text, in more than 6000 sources worldwide.

EconPapers 

Search interface for the contents of the RePEc repository specialising in economics. Searches and provides access to the full text of some three million articles and papers in economics. Also searches software and books.

The Great Encyclopaedia of Economics [ES]

Encyclopaedia of economics in Spanish, with more than 10,000 entries of economic terms.

IMF Glossary of Economics 

Glossary with more than 150,000 terms useful for those translating IMF-related texts. Terms are presented in English, with equivalents in several languages. The list includes words, phrases and names of institutions that commonly appear in IMF documents on issues related to currency and banking, public finance, balance of payments and economic growth.

Esade Knowledge 

Access portal to the intellectual contributions of ESADE professors and researchers, organised by subject area, type of document and name of the professors and researchers.

RFE (Resources For Economist in Internet) 

Portal with access to more than 2,000 resources on economics available on the Internet, useful for both academic and professional purposes. It belongs to the American Economic Association.

Financial markets

Spanish Stock Exchanges and Markets 

Operator of all securities markets and financial systems in Spain. BME has been listed on the stock exchange since 14 July 2006 and has been part of the IBEX 35® index since July 2007. In recent years it has become a benchmark in the sector in terms of solvency, efficiency and profitability.

Spanish organisations

Banco de España 

It is the national central bank and supervisor of the Spanish banking system. It provides access to the full text of its publications (working papers, reports).

Public Treasury

Issuer of public debt in Spain, under the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness. Provides information on Treasury securities. It describes the Spanish Public Debt market, presents the characteristics of the products and their tax treatment, publishes the calendar and results of auctions and shows its publications.

Economic and Social Council

It is made up of different business and trade union organisations. It is a high-level advisory body to the government.

Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores

Organisation in charge of supervising the securities markets in Spain. Its objective is to ensure the transparency of the securities markets.

International organisations

International Monetary Fund (IMF) 

Its objective is to foster international monetary cooperation, strengthen financial stability, facilitate international trade, promote employment and sustainable economic growth, and reduce poverty worldwide. It was founded in 1945 and is administered by its 188 member countries.

World Bank 

International organisation whose purpose is to combat poverty and support development. It consists of two institutions owned by 188 member countries: the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) and the International Development Association (IDA). The IBRD's objective is to reduce poverty in middle-income countries and creditworthy poor nations. IDA focuses its activities exclusively on the poorest countries. These institutions are part of a larger body known as the World Bank Group.
It was established in 1944 and is headquartered in Washington, DC.

Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development 

Organisation whose aim is to promote policies that improve the economic well-being and social welfare of people around the world. It is a forum where governments can work together to share experiences and seek solutions to common problems.

European Central Bank 

The central bank of Europe's single currency. Its main function is to maintain price stability in the euro area, which comprises the 17 countries of the European Union that have adopted the euro since 1999, and provides open access to the full text of its publications.

European Commission 

The European Commission is the executive body of the European Union responsible for proposing legislation, implementing decisions, upholding the Union's treaties and the day-to-day business of the EU.

European Banking Authority (EBA) 

European body whose objectives are the stability of the financial system, the transparency of the markets and the protection of depositors and investors within the EU.

European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) 

European body whose objectives are to safeguard the stability and efficiency of the financial system. It is mainly active in the field of investment services companies; corporate governance; auditing of accounts and financial reporting within the EU.

European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Authority (EIOPA) 

EU committee made up of the EU insurance and pension fund supervisory authorities.
