Good Practices for Handling, Protecting and Depositing Research Data

Free tools for developing a Data Management Plan (DMP)

It is mandatory for projects that receive European or national funding to prepare a PGD that includes how research data have been collected, details the policies that have been followed for data protection, as well as including all information relating to compliance with the FAIR principles of Open Science. This document is being requested by the Ministry from the participating PDI both for the project's Justifying Report and at the end of the project.

Self-assessment checklist to assess whether a DMP is well drafted and sufficient detail has been included.

These Self-Assessment Templates / Rubrics are very useful once a first PGD has been produced, so that the PDI can discern whether their document is sufficiently detailed or needs to be improved or needs to include more elements and information.
