WHAT IS PLAGIARISM?

It is the act of presenting someone else's ideas or work as your own.

When do we plagiarize?

  1. When we summarize an idea or a source using words that are suspiciously similar to those of the original work.
  2. When we copy directly from the original.
  3. When we appropriate someone else's work or ideas.
  4. When we use diagrams, images, tables, or graphs that we did not create.

And we do so without including a citation to identify the authors
