KPMG Spain and Comillas Pontifical University have signed a strategic agreement that promotes collaboration between both institutions to bring university education closer to the reality of the labour market and offer students tools to enhance their employability.

The agreement includes the creation of a scholarship programme aimed at talented students with limited resources, as well as the promotion of awards for academic excellence. In addition, the consulting firm will allocate funds to strategic institutional projects and develop practical initiatives for students, such as specialised talks, sessions and speed-dating events to bring students closer to the professional world. KPMG will also participate in the university's Employment Forum, consolidating its recurring presence at this event.

Juanjo Cano, president of KPMG in Spain, highlights that "this agreement reflects our commitment to supporting the new generations and offering them experiences that connect their training with real opportunities for professional development." For his part, Antonio Allende SJ, rector of Comillas Pontifical University, points out that the alliance will allow both institutions to "continue promoting joint initiatives that contribute to comprehensive training, talent management and academic, business and social innovation."

With this agreement, both entities consolidate a collaboration that links academic training with professional practice, promoting the development of young talent and contributing to the educational and business ecosystem. It also strengthens the friendship between the two institutions, as well as the consultancy's commitment and determination to support young talent forged in the classrooms of the Jesuit university in Madrid. It also serves to bring the university closer to the labour market and enhance the employability of students.
