Diploma in Personal, Communication, and Professional Skills

Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (CIHS)

.

What is it?

The Diploma in Personal, Communication, and Professional Skills is eminently practical and complements the Faculty's undergraduate degrees by strengthening the transversal skills most in-demand in the workforce.

This diploma allows students to acquire "soft skills," which are so necessary in today's professional landscape. Among other abilities, it works on time and stress management, self-awareness, self-motivation, teamwork, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Notable subjects include Written Communication Techniques, Argumentation and Debate Techniques, Learning and Service, Leadership, Teamwork, and Entrepreneurship and Professional Development.

Through the Diploma in Personal, Communication, and Professional Skills, students will learn study techniques that best suit their needs, improve their assertiveness, their oral communication skills, and their ability to effectively manage their own work. The aim is also for students to learn to work dynamically in teams and in multicultural environments, and to be able to analyze and manage information from a critical, ethical, and responsible framework. This preparation allows students to competently face the challenges of a changing and competitive professional world.
