Comillas dresses up to close the year
More than 350 members of the university community took part in the Comillas Community Gala, a ceremony full of awards and recognitions
30 May 2024
The 2023-2024 academic year is coming to an end and what better way to celebrate it than by recognising and reliving everything that has happened during this great year. In a ceremony that brought together more than 350 members of the university community and that was full of music, laughter and, most expected, awards.
A day that began with a performance by the Comillas Creative Voices Workshop, accompanied and conducted by the Impromadrid team, who filled the Aula Magna of Alberto Aguilera with laughter. In addition, we had exciting shows such as the performance of the group IMPROV: Your PHD Power Up or the sports exhibition of Álvaro López, professional Football Freestyler.
During the gala, the Vice Rector for Students and Alumni, Belén Urosa, together with Irene Maestre, Director of Comillas Community, the directors of each of the services and the godfather and godmother of the spaces presented the different awards. Ramón Almansa, executive director of Entreculturas, accompanied us as sponsor of Comillas Solidaria; Lluis Salinas, general coordinator of Pastoral MAGIS, as sponsor of Comillas Espiritualidad; Claudia Gagliardi, Manager of the Choral Society of Madrid, was the sponsor of Comillas Arte; María Peñas Fernández, Psychology alumni at Comillas, as godmother of Comillas Contigo and Belén Viscasillas Rodriguez-Losada, head of the Global Health and Wellbeing Plan at Ferrovial, accompanied us as godmother of Comillas Bienestar.
