The Publications Service was proud to present more than 60 works written by the university's lecturers in an emotional event that has become a tradition at this time of year. This is a very important number of works with very diverse topics ranging from bioethics to economics and business, as well as theology, social sciences, engineering, education and philosophy. And they have been published over the last year both inside and outside Comillas.

"We are very happy with the results of this edition. With 62 titles, the record number of works presented throughout the history of this celebration has been broken," says Belén Recio, head of the University's Publishing, Production and Sales Office, who stresses that "not only have the achievements of more than 50 authors been celebrated, but this is also a demonstration of the intellectual muscle of our University".
In total, 18 titles are published by our publishing house, six of them in co-publication with publishers such as Sal Terrae, San Pablo or the University of Alicante, among others.
In this sense, the Rector of Comillas, Antonio Allende SJ, mentioned that "we are celebrating a style of university: a university that thinks, that researches, that writes and that understands that knowledge is not accumulation, but conversation". Moreover, these books "are the intellectual effort of this university community and also a seed that can germinate where we least expect it".
Recio insists that "this event should be of interest to the entire university community because, as well as celebrating the great book festival, we pay tribute to all our colleagues who have made an effort of creativity and dedication to offer with their works a vehicle of knowledge, science and transformation in the field of research and scientific dissemination".
