Comillas Emprende: a week to explore, connect and turn ideas into action
A week to listen to real stories, share ideas and take that first step that turns what you imagine into something that starts to happen

At Comillas, entrepreneurship is much more than creating companies, it is daring to take the plunge, sharing concerns and transforming ideas into action. The first Entrepreneurship Week, organised by the Comillas Emprende service, was the starting point where students, alumni and professionals met to be inspired, question themselves and start building together.

For several days, the university became a living space where talent was set in motion. From the classrooms to the entrepreneurship hub , through networking spaces and project presentations, each initiative added a new way of understanding entrepreneurship, close, real and with purpose.
One of the highlights was the masterclass by Ferran Adrià, who invited us to reflect on the true meaning of innovation. Far from closed formulas, he shared his experience building creative processes and making decisions in complex environments, reminding us that there is no single way of doing things, but there is a key attitude: to constantly question oneself.
In the same spirit of community, the Comillas Emprende Alumni Event took place, an exclusive meeting that brought together the alumni entrepreneurial ecosystem in a particularly significant edition. On this occasion, Ferran Adrià participated in a conversation with the alumni Claudia Múgica, creator of the Entalpía Awards, in a close format that allowed us to delve into the real experience of entrepreneurship. The meeting also served to celebrate the official inauguration of the new Entrepreneurship Hub, a space that reinforces the university's commitment to promoting new ideas.
The week also left room to listen to stories born out of passion. At TEDxUComillas, organised by students, different profiles shared trajectories marked by difficult decisions, learning and the ability to transform motivation into an engine for change. More than an event, it was an opportunity to connect with other perspectives and discover new possibilities.
The VII Investment Forum once again demonstrated the strength of the community, bringing together startups with investors and alumni, generating real connections that drive projects beyond the classroom.
In parallel, the Program "Entrepreneurs in the Classroom" brought more than 20 alumni into the classroom, integrating real experiences into everyday academic life and showing that entrepreneurship is also learning by doing.
Creativity and teamwork had their place in the final of the Ideas Competition, where the finalist projects presented their proposals to the jury and the university community. In this edition, the winners were: Xplore (1st Comillas), Goffee (2nd Comillas), BoraCash (3rd Comillas and Roca Junyent prize), Elevare (Iberdrola prize) and Kora (INDRA prize).
In addition, initiatives such as the Physiotherapy Entrepreneurship Day demonstrated that entrepreneurship does not understand disciplines, bringing students closer to specific professional realities and broadening their way of seeing the future.
Beyond each activity, the Entrepreneurship Week left something common in all those who participated: the feeling of being part of a community that encourages, accompanies and makes ideas happen.
Because here, entrepreneurship is not an individual path. It is a shared experience where everything starts with a question, grows as it connects with others and becomes meaningful when it turns into real impact.
