Comillas Cast looks at the situation in the Middle East one year after the beginning of the war

On 7 October 2023, Israel suffered an attack perpetrated by Hamas that triggered a series of dramatic processes that keep the Middle East region in conflict, a civilian population that is suffering the dramatic consequences in fear, and the world on tenterhooks.

Comillas Cast podcasts, in their role as transmitters of knowledge to society, have discussed this and other conflicts and analysed the situation in the Middle East.

In its third episode, "El mundo está loco, loco, loco" interviews the lecturer and head of studies of the Dual Degree in International Relations and Global Communication at Comillas, Javier Gil, who talks about the instability caused by the 60 conflicts that are currently present in our world. On the other hand, the podcast of the Department of International Relations, "Brújula Global", features Elías Cohen, also a lecturer at the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria, who explains Israel's position from the beginning of the conflict and its evolution to the present day.
