The meeting addressed key issues such as class formation and the perimeter of restructuring plans, the treatment of public credit in insolvency proceedings, valuation in viability plans and the role of professionals in insolvency processes. Also analysed were issues of growing relevance, such as the sale of production units as a solution to insolvency, and the labour aspects associated with these procedures.
Throughout the different round tables, magistrates, lawyers, economists and lecturers took part, which allowed the debate to be enriched from multiple perspectives. Among the most outstanding contributions was the critical reflection on the privilege of public credit, as well as the analysis of the current legal framework and its possible future evolution.
Without a doubt, this congress seeks to consolidate a new space of reference for the study and practice of corporate restructuring in Spain.
