The Support Office for Teaching Innovation organised the Conference for the Presentation of Teaching Innovation Projects, an event which brought together lecturers and researchers from different faculties to share transformational initiatives in the field of education. The event was opened by Elisa Aracil, Vice-Rector for Strategy, Internationalisation and Academic Organisation at Comillas, who highlighted the courage of the participants: "In education, it is easy to get comfortable, but you have decided to teach in a different way, and that puts you a step ahead".

Aracil also highlighted two key elements for successful innovation: perseverance and technique. In her words, "inspiration is not enough; ideas must be accompanied by constant commitment and the right tools to turn them into successful projects". She encouraged the participants to become ambassadors of teaching innovation, promoting these practices among their colleagues so that Comillas can be a leader in educational change.

The conference also included the intervention of María-Jesús Martínez-Usarralde, from the University of Valencia, who presented the paper "Haciendo pedagogía de la innovación.
